There are many reasons why the Applewood Auto Group should be your first choice for service, but here are just a few reasons:
Our dealerships are conveniently located across the lower mainland to offer the best service experience around. Check out our service page to find out which dealership is located most conveniently for you.
Our rates can be higher than some independent garages/repair facilities, and this is the same for all franchised dealerships. There are many reasons why this is the case, but here are some of the more important ones for you:
All of our new and many of our used vehicles come with a warranty to provide you additional peace of mind. Warranties can be displayed in many different ways but are often listed as 5 year/100,000 kms. This means that the warranty will cover the vehicle for 5 years or until the vehicle reaches 100,000 kms, whichever comes first. As warranties may vary, we recommend getting in touch with one of our staff members to day to find out more about your specific coverage.
As there are many different types of warranty, we recommend getting in touch with one of our friendly staff members to find out the best information specific to you. However, there are some general items you can use as a baseline. A comprehensive or bumper to bumper warranty generally covers everything that may go wrong with the vehicle outside of regularly scheduled maintenance. A powertrain warranty will typically cover any defects related to the engine and transmission of the vehicle.
As every used vehicle is unique, its best to ask one of our friendly staff members for the information specific to a vehicle that you are interested in. Warranties are generally transferable as long as the vehicle is within the limitations of the warranty, to newer used vehicles may have the balance of their factory warranty remaining.
Its the owners responsibility to perform regularly scheduled maintenance for their vehicle. This includes fluid changes and other shorter lifespan elements of the vehicle. You can bring your owners manual in for one of our helpful staff members to review the schedule for your vehicle with you.
If something does go wrong with the vehicle, it is important to bring it to the dealerships attention as soon as possible. Whether this is a major issue or just the check engine light coming on, it is the owners responsibility to notify the dealership about any potential warranty issue right away.
Again, as warranties can differ we recommend getting in touch with one of our knowledgeable staff members to find out what a specific warrantys details are. However, generally warranties will cover the parts and labour costs of any unexpected service but require the owner of the vehicle to cover regular maintenance.
